eclipse

Did you know that we had a solar eclipse the other day?

Neither did we.

We went on a nice Sunday evening bike ride (my first one since my surgery!!) and ended up at a park overlooking the city. 

 The park was overly crowded and we thought it was strange that there were so many people gathered at the park. A nice gentleman came over and gave us a pair of solar "eclipse shades" and told us that prime viewing time was 7:30.... and it happened to be 7:25.

The eclipse was really amazing!  We were lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

I love riding my bike :)  It makes me so happy.  I might try to ride it to work/internship... but that would mean getting up earlier, so we will see.

We had a fun evening and a grueling game of phase 10... which we had to cut short at phase 7 because it was getting to be past my (9:00) bedtime...
