School has begun and it seems like this will be the most craziest busiest semester of grad school yet. I won't go into the boring details, but we have SO MUCH TO DO! I really don't understand how it is all going to get accomplished, but we are 3 weeks into it and still chugging along. This is our adult semester and it will hopefully prepare us for our clinical internship this summer... like actual people that we will have to treat... right now that sound terrifying. I hope we learn a lot.
Other news... To relieve my stress from school, I have been playing volleyball every week. It is so amazing and fun to play again, i love it. A big shout out to my good friend Kelsie for inviting me and all the cool kids that let me play :)
Also, Jake and I have been playing on an indoor co-ed soccer team, which has been fun except for this last game.......
I had a run in with a fellow and he kind of knocked me over and i caught myself with my right leg, except my knee didn't support me, I heard and felt a big pop and it gave out.
Bad news. and it hurt like crap.
I asked one of the PT professors at school to look at it yesterday, and he did a few tests and his conclusion was a torn ACL. So... I am going to the doctor on friday with hope for a miracle. As of then I will be hobbling around on crutches trying to finish assignments and not go crazy because I can't do anything.
So pray for a miracle, because there is no way I can fit surgery into my life right now.
