6 MONTHS!

We have been married for 6 months!!! I can't believe it! Time has gone so fast. Our real 6 month anniversary was last weekend on the 11th, while we were in Idaho Falls, so we celebrated just this last Friday night. Jake had everything planned and wouldn't give me any hints or clues about what we were doing. I love surprises except when I know they are coming. That doesn't make much sense but I don't like waiting for the surprise. I like to just walk into a room and be surpirsed. When Jake told me last week that we were going out on a surprise date for our 6 month, I had to wait ALL week trying to figure out what we were doing! The anticipation kills me!

Well, Friday night finally came along and he told me we were eating at 7:30. He came home with some gorgeous flowers!!! He picked them out all by himself and I think the arrangement is beautiful, such happy spring colors! What an amazing husband I have. He is such a sweetheart. Then we got in the car and he still wouldn't tell me where we were going... we ended up at this little restaurant called Le Nonne.

It is the cutest Italian restaurant in a little house. I have ALWAYS wanted to go there because I've heard so much about it but I've never been. It is just a little house and only has 10 or 12 tables. It was such a fun place and the food delicious and very authentic Italian. Thanks Jake!!!! I am such a lucky girl to have such a sweet and thoughtful guy! You are the best husband!

Leavin for the weekend!

It seems like we are always trying to find somewhere to go for the weekend. We just want to get out of town!! After a long week of work, we always try to plan something fun. We both have the weekend off so it usually works out pretty well. It's been so cold in Logan we decided to go down to St George the weekend before last. We stayed with Jake's sister Amber and her hubby Mike and their adorable little boy, Camden. It was so great to feel the sun. We even got to go golfing!

It was so great to be outside and playing golf for the first time of the year. Always a little rusty but we had a blast! We played a scramble, Jake and I vs. Jeff and Mike. It was a good match and a beautiful course.

We enjoyed listening to General Conference and mostly watching Camden. He is so entertaining. I have the cutest nephews in the world. He was playing with these tube "circlies" and couldn't get enough of them. He got ALL of us to crawl through them, even Grandma and Grandpa!

It's Camden's birthday tomorrow on the 14th and he will be 2 years old. Happy birthday Cam!!!!! We wish we could be there. He is so cute and he can say "Jake" really well and he's working on Courtney, it sound more like "Corchy"

This Easter weekend we left for Idaho Falls to see my parents. We even convinced them to take us golfing. (it wasn't too hard) We went on Saturday morning and had pretty good weather. I was bundled up in my dads extra warm stuff and I finally got warm. Just like normal spring golf in Idaho. Not quite as nice as St George! My dad was giving Jake a little golf lesson and he started hitting the ball really well. I'll have to keep my game up if I don't want him to beat me. :)

We had a fabulous dinner on Easter and a great time watching the Masters. I love watching golf with my dad because he points out little things for me to watch and always knows some random facts about the players. If you didn't watch this year, you missed out. Tiger and Phil really battled it out but neither of them won! haha! It was really entertaining though.

I kinda made Jake dye Easter eggs with me because I LOVE it! During every holiday I want to to the same things I did as a kid... carve pumpkins, make gingerbread houses, light sparklers and throw snaps... So we had some childish fun decorating a few eggs. My mom told me, and I quote "The Easter bunny will return when you have kids" I don't know if that was a threat or a hint... No matter what we always have a great time in Idaho!
