Sweet Summertime

It has finally gotten warm and I am ready for summer fun!  Bring on the pool, barbecues, golfing, camping, and hiking!!  It seems like our weekends fill up so fast and we already have our summer planned.  We are ready to party!  

....except that Jake is in summer school... that puts a damper on things when you have to do homework every night :(  Oh well, we do what we can!

Last week we kicked off the warm weather with a BBQ with some friends in our ward at Adams Park.  It was so great to be outside and enjoy some food and friends!

I LOVE summertime!!

We had fun chatting and throwing a frisbee and football, and playing a little sand volleyball.  We definetly need to do this more.

Gardening 101?

We planted a garden.  I guess we are gardeners now. 

Step One: till

Scratch that..... Step One: buy plants

Step Seven: watch the garden grow

We are experimenting with becoming gardeners.  Do not try this at home, and what I mean is don't follow my steps because I really don't know what I'm doing!!  This is our first attempt at a little garden so I thought I would document.  We are planting red, yellow and orange bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and winter squash.  There is also some corn in the other two rows.  Hopefully something will grow!

At least we have some beautiful peonies to take home!

Memorial Weekend

We had a fabulous memorial weekend.  We went up to Idaho Falls to spend some time with the fam.  Chris and Kelsey were evern there so we got to hang out with them and play with little Logan, who is not so little anymore!  We haven't seen him since Christmas and he has grown so much and developed a cute personality.  

We went down to the greenbelt to feed the ducks and walk around the river.  It was fun to see Logan watching all the ducks and geese.

We played golf on Monday, I always play a little better when I play with my dad!  It was fun to play some golf with the boys.  Mom, Kelsey and Logan came out to greet us as we finished...

What a cutie!  I can't wait to see him again!!

Ali's {Bridal} Shower

One of my best friends from high school is getting married this month!  We threw her a rockin bridal shower a few weeks ago.  It was so fun to see all of our friends.  She was my roommate at USU also so we have all of the same friends from high school and college!

It was so fun to see everyone and catch up.  We had some great times!  I'm so happy for Ali and I can't wait for her wedding in a couple weeks.  It is going to be awesome.  I seriously love all these girls and I miss them so much.  I'm excited to move to Salt Lake this fall so I will be closer to most of them!
