ever heard of Driggs?

A summer get-a-way to Huntsman Springs

We had a fabulous week with my family in Driggs, ID.
What do you do for a week in Driggs you ask?  I will let the pictures tell the tale.
We had a blast.

The first morning we woke up and went on a little bike ride... that turned into a long bike ride!

I was feeling pretty awesome... like maybe I could make it to the 2016 Olympics....

... and by this time I was ready to be done :)

We took my nephew, Logan, to the putting green to practice a little putting and chipping.

He loves golf.

Grandma Vonnie was giving him a few pointers.

He wanted to show of his skills to Vonnie and Papa, they were impressed.

Then uncle Jake taught him how to play chess

The pieces were as big as him!

We ate some fantastic food during out get-a-way.
Cobb Salad and Steak

Barbecued Pizza

We played a little basketball...

and wanted to play volleyball... but never made it to the sand pit...

The girls had fun making a few crafts.

A wreath, a bracelet, a scarf and some letters to spell EAT.

We all loved watching the Olympics!

even Ryan!

We played golf a couple of days, this is the driving range... look close and you can see we are aiming right at the Grand Teton!

Dad, Jake, Chris and I

This is Jake and his caddie, Jake discussing the best place to aim on this tricky hole.

A beautiful challenging golf course.

Vonnie got lots of snuggle time with the boys.

We would make a heck of a scramble team :)

and me... Our caddie just said, "Aim it at the Grand Teton and you will be in great shape."

One evening we went on a beautiful ride headed up to Targhee.

There's that famous Teton again!

The next day we went on a beautiful float down the Snake River, we left from Jackson Hole and floated for about 10 miles.

and we saw a moose!

Cute little moose!

Next year we might try the whitewater!

After the float we needed some...

ice cream!

We stopped in Jackson for a cool treat.

We hated to say goodbye to our nice place in Driggs!
Here's a quick tour our out "cabin."

our bedroom

and bathroom

Packed up and ready to go home :(

Last stop... Grand Teton National Park!
We rode our bikes up to Jenny Lake.

It was breathtaking!

Until next year... I hope we will be back!
