Home for the Holidays

We are so happy to be in a home together, especially for the holidays!  We moved in as soon as we were done with finals.  Here is a little tour of our home!

Entry as you come in the front door.

I love our house.  It feels like home.  

There are some funny things about the house because it is old.

The heat doesn't work too well in our bedroom, bathroom or office room.

but... the fireplace is marvalous.

The water is either HOT or COLD, it takes a while to find the perfect in between.

but... we got a new shower head that makes the world of difference.

Our feet are cold on the hard wood floors.

but.... I'm going shopping for rugs and I got new warm socks for Christmas.

The house has never been wired for cable or internet.

but... we finally got connected.

We aren't entirely unpacked.

but... we have room for all of out stuff!

We are so happy to be together, just in time for Christmas.

We are ready for visitors.  

You can come to spend the night or just for dinner and games!  

OT Christmas

We had an awesome OT class Christmas party the night after our last final.  It was a blast.  It was so fun to hang out with everyone, not studying, not working on a project, or not dissecting a cadaver...

We had delicious appetizers, drinks, dinner and dessert.  We had a white elephant exchange and sang a little kareoke.  It was a great way to kick of the Christmas season!

I am done with finals.

I got straight As.

Jake will be done with finals today.

We get to live together again.

I finally get to put up my Christmas stuff.

I have three weeks off for Christmas vacation.

I am madly in love with this guy.

It's a good day :)

These really do make awesome gifts for parents/grandparents.  It is something they will love and always remember.  My sister-in-law has done this and my parents LOVED it!  They have the cute calendar hanging in their kitchen and they use it for the whole year!  They love seeing more cute pictures of their grandson every month.

I am excited to design a Christmas card this year!

Cozy little house

Our new house!

We will finally be in Salt Lake living together!

We are moving in on December 17th.

I am so dang excited to live with my husband again.  It's been a long 4 months.

If anyone has any extra furniture, mattresses or rugs laying around, we would gladly take them off your hands :)

I'll post some pics of the inside when we get moved in and decorated.
