{mom & me} weekend

After I graduated, my mom and I decided to plan a long weekend together to celebrate!  We decided that the best place to go would be Park City.  That way we wouldn't have to waste a day traveling.

We started out on a nice road bike ride.

My mom was hooked!

Followed by a pedicure :)

Then a little shopping at Gardner Village.

We drove up to Park City, checked into out room at Canyons and had a relaxing evening.

In the morning we went on a nice walk along the path to the historic white barn.

We stopped by the outlets in the afternoon...

and happened upon a concert at the Canyons that night, right outside our room!

It was the weirdest band... 80s southern rock...
the best song they played was Sweet Home Alabama

We made some friends, some ladies next to us who had a little too much to drink... we even got up and danced with them.

The next day was divine... pool time...

and then golfing time.

We played Crater Springs in Midway.

The next day we did some furniture shopping....

ate at my favorite cafe, Roots...

and a little more shopping...

All in all it was a perfect mom & me weekend.
We laughed so hard we cried.  And we finally had enough days to do all the things we wanted to do in one (long) weekend!

I love you mama!!

{larsen's} and the lodge

Larsen Family Reunion 2013 at the Lodge in Firth.
An amazing beautiful place.

What a fun time with family, with so much to do I didn't take many pictures!!
Surprising, I know ;)

Lana and I went paint balling with the boys... there were probably 5 more guys that weren't even in the picture. We were a little outnumbered but surprised them with out tactics and skills.

We went on a little horseback ride, this place is seriously so gorgeous.

I wish I would have taken more pictures of the family... there's always next year!

NBCOT

or
the National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy
or
the Damn Test

In other words... the cumulation of 3 years of school in one 4 hour test!!!

Since I finished my Internship the end of March I have been studying for this darn test.  It's a process after graduating, passing my internship, taking boards and getting my license before I could start working... this was just another hoop to jump through...
a fiery burning life or death expensive kind of a hoop.

After studying more than I ever thought I could,
and feeling like my brain was a pot of soggy spaghetti,
I decided I was ready or not.

The morning of June 6th, 2013 I took the test.
I actually felt pretty good about it and hopeful about the results...
but sometimes that is when you fail.
I had to wait a week to find out the results.  Longest week ever.

So we packed up the car and the bikes and
Jake took me on a weekend getaway to Park City to celebrate being DONE.

We went a beautiful bike ride that morning and did some shopping at the outlets in the afternoon.

We drove over to Heber to the Dairy Keen for a milkshake.

And spent some time by the pool the next day.

A week later I received my results....

Best news of the year.

wedding season

My adorable cousin Brooke got married!

I can't believe this beautiful girl has grown up and is old enough to be a married woman!

I was so excited to venture over to Boise with my parents to her wedding and see my brother & sis-in-law and their new house... and to play with my cute nephews!

I rode with my parents and watched 2 movies... like a kid again :)

Waiting outside the temple after the beautiful ceremony.
This is my mom and 3 of her siblings with my gramps!

Adorable reception: an old fashion Retro Drive-In Ice Cream Parlor

...with a photo booth with dress ups!

Golfing the next day with my family!

The original Webb foursome!!!

That night we took Logan to the driving range.

Papa Webb giving Logan some pointers.

The next day we went flying kites in the good ole Idaho wind.

Vonnie Papa and Logan!

I told you I was just like a kid watching a movie in the back of the car :)

I'm so happy for Harmon and Brooke and I had so much fun hanging with these cute boys!
