Christmas {Number 2}

 Christmas is the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

We were so lucky this year.  We had Christmas twice!  When we got home from Idaho Falls, we went up to Jake's family and had a little Christmas with them.  We had a delicious dinner and opened some presents.  It was fun to see them open our gifts that we had made or picked out for them.  Camden was so excited, we got him his very own flashlight!

I made scarves for Carolyn and Amber, and Amber gave me a scarf!!  Here we are in our cute new scarves.

Jake got some all weather, all everything boots to wear in the snow, mud and rain..... Camden wanted to try them on!! HA!!!  (and you can see the little flashlight we got him hooked to his belt!)

What a cute little boy!

 All of us together!

We are so lucky to have two amazing families!  It is so fun to spend time with each family and celebrate this special holiday season.  We are so grateful for the support and love that both of our families show us.  We are so blessed.

We hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

{27 and 1}

Chris's birthday was Monday the 28th and he turned a whopping 27!!  Logan's birthday isn't for another week or so but we won't be able to be there for it.  He turns ONE on January 7th!!  So.... we gave Chris his presents and we gave Logan his present a little early!

Happy Birthday Chris!!

 Logan loves the bows!

He also loves ripping the paper!

He loves his golf club and golf balls!

 And he loves his aunt Courtney!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOYS!!!!

We had a Merry Little Christmas

Oh how I love Christmastime!!  I have been so excited for Christmas this year.  We have been busy with finals and the GRE and haven't stopped since.  We have been getting ready for Christmas, making gifts, wrapping presents and decorating the house.  I love our little tree and all of our fun decorations.  I feel like our house is transformed at Christmas!  I'll post some pictures later of our house.

This year we traveled up to Idaho to spend Christmas with my family!  It was so great to be home for Christmas.  This is the first time we have all been together for Christmas, Jake's first Christmas at my house, and Logan's first Christmas ever!

On Christmas Eve we built a Gingerbread Mansion!  (with everyone's help)

 Mom rolled out the dough, and help cut out the peices.

 Kelsey helped with the cutting, baking, and made the frosting!

I was the master frosting decorator, and Jake helped with assembly and the candy!

Christmas Eve, we read the Christmas Story and each opened one gift.  Logan's was the most exciting!

 My mom made him a colorful dinosaur quilt!  And matching PJs!!

Christmas Morning came bright and early thanks to Logan, he was very anxious for Christmas and woke us all up at 5:45!  I have not been up that early on Christmas for A LONG TIME!  Logan has been walking for a couple weeks and Santa brought him a walking lion and he loved it!!

We had a fabulous Christmas and had fun giving and receiving gifts.  My favorite present that we give my mom each year is scrapbook pages.  Each of her kids makes a couple pages of their favorite memories of that past year.  I think its her favorite thing too!  We add the pages to a scrapbook of our favorite memories.  It was so fun to have Jake with us, I love him and I'm so glad that he fits right into my family.

Happy Birthday AMBER!!

For Amber's birthday on Monday, we went to Cafe Sabor, it was delish!

My favorite part about birthdays is Camden LOVES to sing happy birthday!  He also loves to blow out candles and he always claps at the end of the birthday song!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMBER!!!

Lights and Trees

Last weekend we met my parents down in Salt Lake.  We had a blast!!

 My mom and I did a little Christmas shopping.  We also did a lot of looking!  We went to Gardener Village and I visited my favorite store.  It is called Down To Earth.  I think it was made for me, everything in the store is my style.  Someday when we have a house and oodles of money, I will decorate my whole house from there!  We also stopped by Tia Pan and Gateway.  I honestly believe that shopping is one of my favorite hobbies.  My mom and I are soooo good at it!  We found our new motto....  this is exactly what we do!!

Jake and my Dad stay very entertained hanging out in the apple store.  They could be in there for hours!

 This is the huge Christmas tree at the Gateway mall. If you haven't ever seen it, you should!  It has color changing lights that are synchronized to music, AWESOME!

We went to Temple Square to see the beautiful lights.  It's so amazing how many lights and how many people are as crazy as us to be out there in the freezing weather.

My momma & dad in the Joseph Smith Mem Building.... Beautiful tree

It was so fun to spend some quality time with my parents and take a break before finals week.  I am looking forward to going to Idaho Falls for Christmas to see the whole family!
