The morning of our anniversary I made my sweet hubby a fabulous breakfast. An I LOVE YOU omelet :) Then he had to go to school and work ALL DAY.... bummer.
Since Jake and I didn't even get to spend our real anniversary together and we don't even live together.... we decided we should go on a little anniversary getaway! We headed up to Park City on Friday to spend a few fabulous days together not thinking about school, work or anything but each other.
We checked in to our fabulous place in Midway and had lunch and then went shopping at the outlets. I love finding me a good deal and there were plenty to be found! We also found a delicious little mexican place for dinner. The salsa was to die for! We were almost too full of chips before we even got dinner.
The next morning we went golfing at Wasatch Mountain Golf Course. It was a beautiful day and a awesome golf course. The leaves were changing and it was the perfect autumn day.
We enjoyed the spa and relaxation room at the resort that afternoon and found a little gem of a place for dessert that night. If you are ever driving through Heber, stop at the Dairy Keen for a shake. They are DELICIOUS! There is even a little train that goes around the top of the restaurant.
Here is a picture of our room. It was so nice :) I would love a fireplace in my house, a huge tub, and a king sized bed. I guess we can dream, right?
(kinda fuzzy... sorry)
The Zermatt, where we stayed in Midway.
Where's Courtney?
It was a fabulous weekend and reminded me about how much I love this guy :) I love spending every minute of the day with him. Its sort of killing me to have to live away from him. I don't mean to complain..... but at least we are halfway through the semester and we are 2 months away from being together again. I just miss my man.....
Now it's back to real life, with books and quizzes and homework and exams and dissection and all the other misery associated with Grad school, ha, I thought I wasn't going to complain ;) Well, wish me luck because I have to study ALL weekend because I have my second anatomy/kinesiology/lab dissection exams next week.
Back to the books!
