We decided to try out my backpacking skills and see how my knee would hold up for a bigger longer trip. We headed up Green Canyon to the top of the road and then hiked up towards Mount Naomi. It was so gorgeous and green.
I'm not going to lie, Jake's pack was a bit bigger than mine....
I couldn't believe how GREEN everything was. It was so amazing.
Our hand made fire pit. We found the rocks ourselves..... impressive, I know.
We made our own campsite and had a great night! Tin foil dinners and s'mores :)
My new shoes treated me very well. I love them.
The next morning we hiked out and went for a bike ride up the canyon. It was a fabulous adventure and I'm ready for bigger and better backpacking trips.... anyone else in?!?!
